Baby Face

The 29-year-old, of South Shields, paid a visit to the town’s Park View School yesterday to talk about winning his title last month and his career up to that point.


School Is A Winner

The accolade means that the Temple Park Road school is delivering high-quality school sport and improving the PE experience for every young person.


Celebration Time

Park View School, South Shields, was granted £10,000 from the Big Lottery for the new equipment, which was officially opened by successful entrepreneur Mark Earnden.


Regan Scores Prize

Regan Brown of Park View School, in South Shields, won first prize in the Year 10 artwork and creative writing category of the contest organised by anti-racism educational charity Show Racism the Red Card.


Teaching Assistant Honoured

Joanne Scott, who works at Park View School in South Shields, has been awarded The Jenny Ellis Award for the Outstanding Higher Level Teaching Assistant in the North East. The Jenny Ellis Award was introduced in 2010 by Carnegie Leaders in Learning to commemorate the sudden and tragic death in 2009 of a much loved and respected colleague, Jenny Ellis.
